Iran Issues Strong Warning Against Strikes from US Military Bases

(MENAFN) Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Wednesday cautioned that any assault on Iran carried out from US military installations in nearby countries would be “unacceptable under any circumstances,” according to reports.

During a phone conversation with Oman’s Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, Pezeshkian addressed ongoing regional developments amid US and Israeli operations targeting Iran, discussing their possible international consequences, as stated by Iranian media.

Pezeshkian stressed the importance of maintaining strong ties with neighboring nations while firmly rejecting attacks originating from US bases in the region. “Any attack on Iran launched from US military bases located on the territory of regional countries is unacceptable under any circumstances,” he said.

He also referenced a prior strike in Minab, southern Iran, noting: “At the very beginning of this brutal war, there was an attack on a school in Minab that led to the martyrdom of 168 students.”
